We keep Estonia’s power grid running in every situation
We maintain more than half of Estonia’s high-voltage substations and build electrical installations across the country, from Jõhvi to Valga. Our 4 departments and 35 employees keep our national grid running every day — for almost 20 years now.
High-Voltage Substation Maintenance
We maintain 8 of Estonia’s 330 kV substations and numerous 110 kV substations across the country — periodic servicing, repair, and fault clearance for primary and secondary substation equipment. We have the technology and training to service fluorinated-gas-filled electrical equipment, as well as oil-filled equipment.
High-voltage equipment can contain tens to hundreds of kilograms of SF6. One kilogram of this gas is equivalent to 23.5 tonnes of CO2 — roughly the same as driving nearly 157,000 km in a petrol car, or almost four times around the globe. Filling and emptying the equipment requires specialized equipment and training.
Electrical Installation Construction
We build and maintain 330 kV and 110 kV high-voltage substations and construct medium-voltage distribution points from 10 kV upward.
Renewable Energy Park Substations
We build grid-connection substations for renewable energy parks and maintain them across Estonia.
